Simplest handling. No assembly required. The casting plate is simply placed on the already existing magnetic foil
Due to the integrated magnets, temperature resistant up to 150° / 302 °F, it adheres securely to the heating bed
The spring steel printing surface, whether PEI, PET or even the technical printing plate, is then placed on the magnetic cast plate
Step 1: perform the instrument calibration (incl. LIDAR for X1, X1C)
Step 2: remove the spring steel plate (Dual-Sided Textured PEI, High Temperature PEI, Cool Plate, Engineering)
Step 3: place the KiS-3d magnetic precision casting plate on the heating bed, making sure that it rests against the rear stops of the heating bed
Step 4: place the spring steel sheet on the casting plate, making sure that the spring steel sheet rests against the rear locating pins of the casting plate
Step 5: Done!
Note: Some customer feedback indicated that sensor errors were occurring with some X1C sensors.
The following solution was found:
We have used a printed spacer disc of 2.3 mm (material PETG, ABS or ASA)
Remove the wheel nut, please leave the existing rubber ring! Use the spacer disc and screw on the knurled nut as far as it will go (hand-tight).
Switch on printer - place casting plate and PEI - start printing! File spacer rings

The KiS-3d precision cast plate is characterized by extremely low residual stresses and excellent corrosion resistance.
In addition, it exhibits very good homogeneity.
Due to the cast structure and a special heat treatment, dimensional stability is optimally maintained even at high temperatures.
Surface roughness, thickness and flatness are subject to tight tolerances.
Controls at every stage of the production process ensure high quality.
