GreenyHT
PLA filament is still very popular due to its simplicity in printing, but has a relatively low heat resistance, which significantly limits its functional use.
As a result of months of implementation testing, Spectrum has developed a new filament. Based on a high performance biopolymer with a softening temperature (VICAT) of up to 100°C and a heat resistance (HDT B) of up to 90°C . Spectrum GreenyHT™
The filament contains no plasticisers and significantly outperforms classic PLA grades in terms of stiffness and hardness.
- Fully biodegradable and compostable in accordance with EN 13432
- Bio-based comes from non-genetically modified sources (GMO-free)
- fulfils the conditions for contact with food (technical data sheet)
- increased functionality in terms of heat resistance
- high rigidity
Spectrum GreenyHT™ filament differs visually from normal PLA due to its roughness.
The irregularity and mattness of the surface results in a matt, rough finish, which conceals individual print layers and improves the visual appearance.
